Café Katoen is situated at Oude Turfmarkt, in a nice area called Rode Loper, which was realised during the build of a new underground line, the Noord/Zuidlijn. An excellent transformation turned this part of town into an attractive place to relax and enjoy your leisure time. Oude Turfmarkt is magnificent! To just sit on a bench along the canal, have a nice talk with friends or take a stroll from Centraal Station to De Pijp. Café Katoen lies close to famous neighbours: Muziektheater, Waterlooplein, Dam Square, City Hall, UvA Archaeological Institute, Mensa, Nes-theatres, Wallen, Kalverstraat, several large cinemas… Don’t miss it!

It’s eleven o’clock. Café Katoen opens up. All smiles and ready for the day, we welcome our first guests. Healthy breakfasts and nourishing lunches fill the plates. Freshly made. Garnished with taste. Much appreciated. As cafés go, Café Katoen goes the extra mile. Enjoy our tasty toasties, delicious club sandwiches, wholesome salads and quiches. Katoen also serves a variety of vegetarian dishes. Snacks and appetizers are served throughout the day. Our burgers are famous. Our nachos todos are wicked!
